5MK in Swanage

Had a lovely morning in Swanage, weather clouding over but no rain.

Mrs O'Connor was thrilled with her plank on the pier. (The children will explain!).

Are now on coach on the way home, left on time. Expected time of arrival 4.30pm on the Green.

Will update the blog at around 3.00pm as they near home.

3.00pm

So far so good, no traffic jams up to now so should be on the Green by 4.30pm.

Please remember if you come by car to leave a place for the coach to park!! Many Thanks

5MK in Swanage Thursday 18th June

Wonderful day on Brownsea Island yesterday weather stayed fine, a little drizzle on the way home.

Mr Meehan showed hidden talents by winning the skipping competition!

As the weather was wet yesterday evening the children stayed in the hotel and had a quiz instead.
Devised by Mr Meehan resplendent in a bow tie!

Looking forward to Corfe Castle and the steam train this afternoon.

Everybody sleeping and eating well.

Weather more overcast today but still dry looking

5MK in Swanage Wednesday 17th June

8.30am

Everyone is having a great time! They all enjoyed the 7 mile walk yesterday, weather was perfect the whole day.

Had a close encounter with an ex headteacher (Mr White!) on the beach at Studland while eating ice lollies!

They then had an excellent session on the creatures and plants of the beach with Chrissie from the Studland Study Centre.

All happy and well this morning and looking forward to the Brownsea adventure today.

1.00pm

On Chain ferry towards Brownsea Island.

Ms Hunt has arrived and saying farewell to Mrs Assemakis, weather a little windy but still fine.

Everyone slept like logs last night!
